The UK medical regulator stated that people who have recently acquired the Oxford-AstraZeneca jab. 30 suffered from blood clotting, seven dead.
For the time being, several countries within Europe puts using the AstraZeneca vaccine on hold. Because of the possible links to rare blood clots. The deaths were hard to deny.
Citizens or medics reported the cases of thrombosis through a government website. According to the data, 18.1 million doses administered throughout the country.
The Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) further confirmed that seven people have passed away. These numbers are from the 30 case reports of rare blood clotting.
Nonetheless, Dr. June Raine, the MHRA’s chief executive, still urges the public to get the vaccines. As the “benefits do outweigh the risks”.
No Causal Link
The European Medicines Agency and MHRA forego another statement that there’s no causal link. The cases of blood clotting with the AstraZeneca jab require more study and research.
There is no denying the developing concerns from the vaccine rollout activities. As countries restrict the doses for specific groups only.
Among these countries are Germany and Netherlands. Studies regarding any link on AstraZeneca and the rare blood clotting illness is still ongoing.
