Super Junior’s Siwon leads upcoming drama ‘Oh My Lord’

Super Junior’s Siwon is possibly returning to the small screen soon and thrilled is an understatement!

On June 9th, a piece of surprising but welcomed news arrived as many insiders shared that Choi Si Won is the upcoming lead in TVING’s drama entitled “Oh, My Lord!”. The talks from the industry’s representatives are the probable schedule of production that may start in the second half of 2021.

What’s the story behind “Oh, My Lord!”?

The plot comes from its webtoon inspiration, “Drinking City Virgins.” There are three women whom you will meet in the drama. These women meet together and drink and share some stories about what happens in their lives.

Who will be with Siwon in the forthcoming drama?

According to the circulating reports, Lee Sun Bin, Han Sun Hwa, and APINK’s Jung Eun Ji are, at the moment, reviewing the roles offered for the drama.

How many episodes will it be?

It is set to provide the audiences with ten episodes, all of which shall be exclusively available on the OTT platform of TVING.

Choi Siwon is a member of the legendary Korean idol group Super Junior. He is a successful singer and actor under the management of SM Entertainment. 

As you would have known, it is not the first drama project for him. In truth, he has participated in much Korean drama series that gave him the chance to expand his acting talents.

In the first drama series, he joined “18 vs. 29,” where he played a supporting role as Kang Bong Man.

He landed his first leading role in “Legend of Hyang Dan” in 2007 as Lee Mong Ryong. Choi Siwon won and broke many hearts when he played Kim Sjin Hyuk in the 2015 “She Was Pretty.”
