Scientists and Doctors from Europe, US, and Asian Countries Petitioned to Stop Covid Vaccination

On May, 57 doctors, scientists, and public policy experts (names can be seen on the link below) petitioned for the immediate suspension of Covid19 vaccination due to safety concerns. They also questioned the necessity of the current vaccine rollout, insisting “the establishment of data safety monitoring boards (DSMB) and event adjudication committees (EAC) that are independent of the authority of vaccine manufacturers”. According to the petitioners:

“The lack of extensive animal testing prior to clinical trials, and approval based on safety data generated in trials that lasted less than 3.5 months, raise questions regarding vaccine safety.”

They also added:

“If DSMBs and EACs do not do so, we will call for a pause in mass vaccination. If DSMBs and EACs do not exist, then vaccination should be halted immediately, in particular for demographic groups at the highest risk of vaccine-associated death or serious adverse effects, during such time as it takes to assemble these boards and commence critical and independent assessments. We urge for pluralistic dialogue in the context of health policies, emphasizing critical questions that require urgent answers, particularly if we wish to avoid a global erosion of public confidence in science and public health.”

This is not the first time that experts call for the immediate halt of Covid vaccination. Just a few months ago, scientists, doctors and ordinary citizens from various organizations in European countries also issued a petition to put the Covid jab rollout on halt due to many alarming issues such as blood clot, heart failure, paralysis, and even death. One of these organizations is called the World Doctors Alliance (WDA), “an independent non-profit alliance of doctors, nurses, healthcare professionals and staff around the world who have united in the wake of the Covid-19 response chapter to share experiences with a view to ending all lockdowns and related damaging measures”. Just recently, doctors and officials from Asian countries such as in Japan and Singapore also demanded to put Covid vaccination scheme on halt due to the same reasons, especially concerning vulnerable demographics targeted for the shots such as pregnant women, the elderly, and the young children.

In the US, a group called America’s Frontline Doctors (AFD) founded by Dr. Simone Gold, along with other physicians, lawyers, and parents filed a motion on May against HHS and Xavier Becerra, the department leader, to stop the agency from expanding its emergency use authorization (EUA) for children.  Even last year, Dr. Mike Yeadon, an ex-Pfizer scientist, along with the German expert Dr. Wolfgang Wodarg, co-authored a petition to European Medicines Agency (EMA) to stop Covid vaccine clinical trials due to many alarming health issues.

Meanwhile in the Philippines, Dr. Romeo F. Quijano, an ex-professor of pharmacology and toxicology at the College of Medicine, University of the Philippines (UP), and also the president of Pesticide Action Network (PAN), issued a protest statement against Covid vaccination. On his website, Dr. Quijano stated:

“Social movements should oppose mandatory Covid-19 vaccination because it is clearly anti-people, authoritarian and violative of the right to life and the right to health. There is compelling evidence of high incidence of serious adverse effects, including deaths, due to the Covid-19 vaccines. The right to health also means being able to make our own decisions about our health and body and that no one shall be subjected to medical or scientific experimentation without free and informed consent of the subject. The Covid-19 vaccines are clearly experimental and people being vaccinated are experimental human subjects in a medical experimentation disguised as a public health measure. Mandatory vaccination automatically takes away the individual’s right to free and informed consent.”
